Emergency Department Information

The Jefferson County Health Center Emergency Department provides timely, compassionate care for patients experiencing illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies. Our experienced team works closely with Jefferson County Emergency Medical Services (EMS), fire, law enforcement, and crisis assessment services to help patients access the care they need. As a Level IV Trauma Center, JCHC also provides advanced trauma life support, including evaluation, stabilization, and diagnostic services for injured patients.

Our Emergency Department is designed and equipped to support a variety of emergency care needs.

  • Spacious drive-through garage with direct access for emergency vehicles

 

Education & Community Involvement

The Emergency Department is committed to ongoing education for healthcare professionals and future providers. Nursing and EMS students have opportunities to gain experience in a supportive learning environment as part of their training.

Our Emergency Department also supports community health and safety through local events, health education, and disaster preparedness efforts.
